Customer Consent Policy
How CoastMatch records consent and what a customer authorizes.
Version 1.0 · Effective September 4, 2026 · Operational draft — under legal review · Published by Coast to Coast Communications, Inc.
Consent is required
No customer contact information is released to a business without a recorded consent entry covering the applicable contact channel.
When a business contributes an opportunity, the contributing business must confirm it has the customer's documented consent to submit the opportunity to CoastMatch.
What a customer authorizes
Review and verification of the request, requests for supporting information, an eligibility determination, assignment of a Match Value, display of limited non-confidential information, identification and notification of eligible businesses, controlled distribution within CoastMatch, collection of an Opportunity Access Fee from a business, authorized release of information, and tracking of communications and outcomes.
The distribution arrangement — nonexclusive, exclusive for a defined period, limited distribution, or private match — is disclosed before a request becomes available.
These policies are published by Coast to Coast Communications, Inc. for CoastMatch members and customers. They are operating policies and are not presented as attorney-reviewed or attorney-approved legal advice. Current publication status: Operational draft — under legal review.
