Membership Pricing
Joining CoastMatch is free — free members can post, exchange, sell, and buy customer opportunities. Paid memberships add visibility, capacity, automation, analytics, team controls, support, and reduced transaction fees.
Card billing is not yet enabled on CoastMatch. Selecting a paid plan records your membership request and notifies our team, who will confirm billing with you directly. Free memberships activate immediately.
Exchange transaction fee schedule
Exchange fees scale with the estimated value of the opportunity and are charged to each participating business when an exchange is accepted. Paid memberships receive a reduced fee on every tier.

How revenue is allocated
The 80% seller / 20% CoastMatch split applies only to eligible business-contributed Opportunity Sales. Other transaction types are allocated as follows.
Customer-submitted Project Opportunity
- Customer submits free
- Customer receives $0
- CoastMatch retains 100% of the applicable Opportunity Access Fee
Business-contributed Opportunity Sale
- Eligible business seller receives 80%
- CoastMatch retains 20%
Business-contributed Opportunity Access
- Contributing business receives $0
- CoastMatch retains the applicable Opportunity Access Fee
Opportunity Exchange
- No sale proceeds
- Each participating business pays its applicable exchange fee
Customers never receive any portion of an Opportunity Access Fee or any other CoastMatch fee.
Membership fees provide access to enhanced CoastMatch tools and services. Transaction fees are separate and apply when eligible opportunities are exchanged, purchased, sold, or accepted through Opportunity Access. Paid plans are not currently activated through card billing — selecting a paid plan submits a membership request, and no membership charge is collected until billing configuration is complete.
CoastMatch Verified status cannot be purchased — verification depends on a business successfully completing CoastMatch's verification requirements.
All fees are calculated by CoastMatch at the time of the transaction and recorded on your account. Fee amounts shown here are the current published schedule.
