How a Project Request works
Tell CoastMatch what you need
Describe the project, where it is, when you would like it started, and how you prefer to be contacted. Submitting a Project Request is always free for customers.
CoastMatch verifies the request
We confirm your contact details, your authority for the property or project, and that the request is complete. Approved requests become Match Verified Project Opportunities.
Qualified businesses are identified
You choose how many businesses may receive access — a single best match, a small comparison group, a preferred business, or a private invitation.
Your information stays protected
Your name, telephone, email, and street address remain private until verification, consent, and all release requirements are satisfied.
What you keep control of
- You choose how many businesses may receive access to your project.
- You choose your preferred contact method and contact times.
- You may edit, pause, or withdraw your request before protected information is released.
- You select and contract with the business yourself. CoastMatch does not perform the work, guarantee a contract, or set your project price.
- CoastMatch does not auction customers, and customers never receive cash rewards for submitting a project.
Match Value is CoastMatch’s estimate of the commercial opportunity represented by the request. It is not the cost of the work, a contractor estimate, a guaranteed contract value, or a guaranteed result.
Educational example
A homeowner needs a new roof. The homeowner submits a free Project Request. CoastMatch verifies the request and matches it with eligible verified roofers. An eligible roofer may pay CoastMatch an Opportunity Access Fee. The homeowner receives no portion of that fee and remains responsible for selecting and contracting with the roofer.
